Ramon Oscar Johnson passed away on July 6, 2015 he is now at peace with our Lord and has no more pain. Ramon was born on May 19, 1936 to Oscar and Esther Lindberg Johnson in Burlington, WA. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1955 (some called him "Chief"). He married Donna Barrett on Aug 30, 1957. Their children are son Mike (Shelly) Johnson, grandchildren Charles & Thomas, daughter Lori (Greg) Faubion, grandchildren, Tanner & Taylor. Other Survivors also include his brother Bob (Rita) Johnson, brothers & sisters-in-law Gail & Wayne Snowden, Bob & Pattie Barrett and many nieces, nephews and many good friends. Ramon worked with heavy equipment most of his life and owned ROJ contracting & retired from the Operating Engineers Local 302. Ramon enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends. He also was a "Jack of all trades". He built many things & created welded garden art. He liked to travel especially on several cruises. He was also in the National Guard, Masons, Past Lake Murray Fire Commissioner, Past Elks member, Past Member of Fir Conway Lutheran Church, & member of Salem Lutheran Church. He also enjoyed having lunch with the "Old Guys" at Max Dales once a month. Preceding him in death are his parents, sister Anita & brother Erle. We would like to thank Doctors Martin Dubeck & Mansel Kenwitch & all the doctors and nurses & staff at Overlake Hospital for their loving care and support as well as Mira Vista. Graveside Services will be at Hawthorne Memorial Park at 10am on July 18th A Celebration of Life at Salem Lutheran Church at 11am & a reception at 12 noon.
