Ray Angus Mac Culloch, 72, passed away on March 27, 2017, after a battle with cancer. Ray was born in Los Angeles California on October 6, 1944 to the late David and Viola Mac Culloch. Ray is a graduate from North Central High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Washington State University in 1967. (GO COUGS). Ray was employed by Texaco for over 30 years.

Ray married Janet Sundberg in 1967 in Spokane , WA . They were happily married for 49 years. Ray was actively involved in his community - Fidalgo Pool Commissioner, Kiwanis member, Cub Scouts as well as coaching T-Ball and Little League. Ray and Janet lived in Anacortes for 30 years and after Ray's retirement 19 years ago moved to Mount Vernon .

Ray is survived by his wife, Janet Mac Culloch; daughters, Lori (Ed) McLaughlin and Lisa (Herman) Woo; son Mike (Stacey) Mac Culloch; and seven grandchildren: Ryan and Kyle McLaughlin; Ashley, Jessica and Austin Woo; and Molly and Bill Mac Culloch. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Our family would like to personally thank the staff at Mira Vista and Hospice of the Northwest.

Ray will be laid to rest on Sunday April 2, 2017 at a private memorial for his family. A Celebration of Ray's life will be held on Sunday, April 9 th at 4pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home with reception to follow in the Hawthorne Reception Room.
