Regina May Ash was born September 13, 1932, in Sedro-Woolley WA to Homer Myers and Elsie Thompson and passed away on December 12, 2022, in Mount Vernon.
Jean grew up in the Clear Lake area and graduated with the class of 1950 from Sedro Woolley High School. Jean was married to Keith Ash for 67 years and together they shared a life devoted to their family, friends, and church. Jean was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Mount Vernon where over the years she was active in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, volunteered as church secretary, and always enjoyed her weekly Bible study group. She was committed to her community and volunteered in many capacities including: YMCA Women's Auxiliary, Girl Scout troop leader, member of the Skagit County Republican Women, Skagit County Election Board and she dedicated 40 years to the Skagit Valley Hospital Women's Auxiliary. She also enjoyed snow skiing and her bowling team, the "holy bowlers" and rooting on the Seahawks, Huskies, and the Montana Grizz. Jean and Keith spent their retirement years snow birding and summers enjoying their home on Big Lake.
Jean is preceded in death by her brother Homer Myers Jr. Sisters: Marguerite Baker and Doris Dyer. She is survived by her sons: Gary (Carol), Glenn (Kristen) and daughter Janet (Rod). Grandchildren: Emily, Ryan, Kelly, Gretchen, Brad, Stefanie, and Brittany. 5 great grandsons, 9 great granddaughters and 1 great great grandson. Sister, Esther (Bob) Van De Grift and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Jeans life will be held at 11AM on Saturday January 21, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church Mount Vernon WA with reception following.
