Richard Stuart Speed passed away in his home in Mt Vernon on March 22, 2022.

Richard was born on December 12 ^th , 1960 at Providence Hospital in Seattle, Washington.

He graduated from Inglemoor High School in 1979, Married in 1979.  He raised 3 kids and had a deep passion for gardening, landscape and super passion for fishing.

Richard raised 3 children and spent much of his free time gardening and fishing.

He is survived by daughter Stephanie Hanson, sons Joshua Speed and Matthew Speed, Brothers Bob Speed, Mike Speed, Tom Speed and Jim Speed, and his grandchildren Cadence, Cameron, Jordan, Lilly and DeNeal.  He was proceeded in death by his mother Irene Speed, father William Speed, brothers David Speed and Bill Speed and sister Jackie Speed.

There will be a graveside service Thursday March 31, 2022 at Holyrood Cemetery at 2:30pm.
