Richard Allen Suiter, 56, passed away on Tuesday, August 28th, 2012. Rick was born on October 1st, 1955 at Rowley General Hospital, in Mount Vernon, Washington. He was a resident of Mount Vernon, Washington. Rick graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1973. After school he started his career in roofing at Esary Roofing. Rick's passions were golfing, hunting, fishing, and his family. He loved his pets, and had a sense of humor that entertained all. He was the best husband, father, and brother anyone could ever ask for. Rick is survived by his wife Lori; children: Ryan, Dustin (Amy) Suiter, Colleen Jewell-Suiter, Melinda and Adrienne Sanders; sisters and brother in laws: Ragna (Burt) Olson, Terri ( Geoff) Blake, Nancy (Rich) Gilbert; grandchildren: Riley Russell, Eli Sanders, Kiana Wright, Brendon and Tyler Fenimore, Haley and Trey Suiter; and many numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Anne Suiter; and son, Sky Suiter. Services will be held Saturday, September 1st, 2012 at 1:00pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home, 1825 East College Way, Mount Vernon, Washington. A reception will follow at Skagit Golf and Country Club, 16701 Country Club Drive, Burlington, Washington.
