Robert Clair Erickson, 87, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2017 in Lynnwood, WA.  He was born on December 19, 1929 in Everett, WA.  Robert graduated from Everett High School in 1948.  Shortly after high school he joined the Marine Corps. He then joined the United States Naval Reserves and was a member of the Seabees and retired as CWO4.  Robert married his high school sweetheart, Eleanor Huhnke, and the two were married for 25 years until Eleanor's passing.  Robert remarried Shirley Smith in 1984 and they were married 25 years until Shirley's passing.  After marrying Shirley, the two became involved in the Elks where Robert became exalted ruler of the Everett Elks Lodge #479.  Robert loved flying and had his private pilot's license.  He flew every chance he got.

Robert is survived by his children; Elaine (Jim) Klansnic, Carrie Kemper, and Michael (Colleen) Erickson. He is also survived by his step- children; Vicki Sanders, Toni Wolfgang; sister Lois Summers and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Robert is preceded in death by his parents Noble and Alma Erickson and his sister Norma Jean.  Robert was also preceded in death by his two wives Eleanor and Shirley Erickson.

A graveside service will be held at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, WA. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1:00pm with a reception to follow.
