Robert "Bob" Eugene Marsh met his creator in the comfort of his loving family on September 27th, 2024. Bob was born on July 19th, 1958 in Heidelberg Germany to Cristelda and Horace "Elmo" Marsh.

He lived a life of purpose, faith, dedication, and honor. Bob was known for his steadfast character. Bob is remembered for his delight in the Lord, love for his family, witty sense of humor; we will always remember rolling our eyes at his frequent dad jokes. Bob had a servants heart. He showed great joy in helping others and looked forward to ushering during church services.

He had an ingenuitive mind and enjoyed wood working, spending time with his family, dancing, country western films, camping, hunting, hiking and fishing. Bob was quite the handy man and had a solution to fixing just about anything.

On September 17th, 1984 Bob married his beloved soul-mate, Felicidad "Cita". Bob proudly served the US Navy for 20 years and retired in 1997 with recognition for his status of Chief. After moving to Mount Vernon, Bob retired from his civilian job in 2019 where he enjoyed working with mechanics and crane operations.

Bob is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cita; step-mother Lola; children Marie Fideline, Robert (Shannon) Marsh, Rhonda (Jon) Pickett, Felicia Marsh; grandchildren Jaydon, Courtni, Zoey, Giovanni, Arianna, and Lucca; siblings Bill, Jesse, Pat, Linda, Sam, Nina, Tammy, and Ronnie.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Cristelda; father Horace; grandson Anthony; and son-in-law Ronnie.

Bob left this world with the glory of the Lord and surrounded by love. His family and friends have lasting memories.

Viewing will be held Friday October 4th, 2024, 10:00am until 2:00pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, WA.  A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, WA.
