Robert Kyner "Bob" Gardner, 78, of Burlington, Washington, passed away on February 1, 2021.

Born October 23, 1942, in Leetown, West Virginia, he was the youngest child and son of the late Margaret Blue Gardner and John F. Gardner, Jr.

After graduating from Charles Town High School with the Class of 1960, he went to work with General Telephone Company in Charles Town.  After moving around the country and working with telephone companies in West Virginia, New York, Arizona, and Washington, he retired while a resident of Burlington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John F. "Frank" Gardner, III, and his sister, Ann G. Sagers.

He is survived by his niece, Julie DeHaven of Charles Town, West Virginia; and, his nephews, John Sagers of McMinnville, Oregon, and Judson Sagers of Skillman, New Jersey.

There will be no services and interment will be private.
