Robert "Bob" Edward Lee Jr.

December 12, 1934- November 7, 2024

Robert "Bob" Lee was born December 12, 1934, to Robert and Marion Lee, in Mount Vernon, WA. Robert passed away on November 7, 2024, in his home in Bayview (Mount Vernon), WA.

Robert graduated from Burlington Edison High School in 1952. After high school Robert joined the Army and served in the Korea war. After the military Robert went to work for Concrete Nor'West for the next 45 years.

Robert enjoyed watching his two sons, Jim and Mike, grow up and participate in sports. Robert enjoyed camping with friends and family at Ploeg/Raymond Beach on Samish Island. Robert enjoyed pheasant, duck, and deer hunting. He was also a part of Ducks Unlimited organization and a member of the American Legion.

Robert is proceeded in death by wife Louisa Grace Lee (June 8, 2024), sons: Michael Richard Lee (January 17, 2023), David Edward Lee (July 20, 1964) and parents Marion Webster Lee (January 10,2010) and Robert E Lee Sr. (February 6, 1971). Robert is survived by son Jim and daughter in law Molly, Camano Island; daughter in law Lori Lee, Burlington, sister-in-law Rosemary Ploeg, Burlington. Grandchildren: Marcus & Amy Wickstrom of Arizona; Blake & Monica Wickstrom of Camano Island. Great Grandchildren: Andrew Day and Beau and Bretley Wickstrom, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close family friends.

A graveside service will be held November 21, 2024, at Bow Cemetery at 11:00 am. For their kindness and professionalism on the call made to the house we ask donations go to the Bay View Volunteer Fire Dept at 12777 Josh Wilson Road Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
