Robert Allen Spurgeon, 76, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2021 at his home in Sedro Woolley, WA. with his wife and family by his side.

Robert was born in Compton California on Sept. 13, 1944. He and his wife, Ember were married for 53 years. Their oldest son, Ricky E. Spurgeon, preceded him in death in 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Ember and children, Corinna Garcia and Robert Cain Allen Spurgeon, both of which live in Sedro Woolley. He had 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.

Robert spent one year active in the Air Force, then 19 years in the Air Force reserves. He worked for Weyerhauser and Boeing.  He also worked several years in the Sedro Woolley Sawmill.  Robert then worked in Portland, as an abatement worker.  He was hurt on that job and had to retire.

A graveside service will be held at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, WA on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00am.
