Rodney Kieth Newbound, 71, of Mount Vernon, WA passed away peacefully on May 19, 2021 at home with his loving wife by his side.  Rodney and Lydia had lived in the Pacific Northwest for 31 years.  Rodney was born February 7, 1950 to Mr. & Mrs. Theodore and Thelma Newbound in Belle, Missouri.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents.  He leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Lydia Jane Weddle-Newbound; three daughters Charlene Meeker of Colorado, Regina Sanchez of Arizona, and Jami Jensen of Missouri.  He also leaves behind six grandsons, one great-grandson as well as one sister Ronda Rose of Louisiana and many cousins.

A celebration of life will be announced far and wide at a later date.
