IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosalee
Stafford
June 17, 1938 – February 1, 2020
Rosalee Stafford, Of Mount Vernon Washington, passed away peacefully at Skagit valley hospital on Saturday, February 1st 2020 surrounded by her children and grandchildren who love her dearly.
Rosalee was born on June-17-1938 in Linville North Carolina , to Ervin Reed, and Juanita Marcus. She had 3 brothers, Bill Marcus, Joey Marcus, and Tommy Marcus. July- 18 -1955 she married Ernest Stafford in Linville, NC. Rosalee is survived by her children, Darroll Stafford, Dan Stafford, Brenda Taunton, Diane McConnell, Darwin Stafford, Dennis Stafford, Delores Bacus, Darlene Stafford, her 23 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Husband Ernest Stafford, Son Donald Stafford, Brothers Bill, Joey, Tommy Marcus, and her parents Ervin and Juanita.
Rosalee spent her days as a Homemaker to her Husband and 9 children. She is a fantastic cook and loves to fill the bellies of those she loves. We believe she will be taking care of all the babies in heaven. Her grandchildren know her as grandma Rosie and will always remember her endless love and care. She babysat for friends and family in her spare time as well, any chance she could get to snuggle a baby she would gladly accept. Rosalee is a sweet caring, kind, soul, but she was always able to tell you how it is and what she thought. We love her so much for that. Rosalee loved to tend to her yard work, and collect nick knacks. Her walls were filled with pictures of her children and Grand babies, and shelves full of cookie jars. You could stop by anytime for a good meal and conversation. She is very loved and will be missed by many.
Her Funeral service will be held at 1 pm Thursday February-06-2020 at Hawthorne funeral home and memorial park. Donations, and condolences may be offered at 22449 Seunic st, SedroWoolley, WA 98284
