Ruby Ila Sheridan, 92, of Conway passed away February 18, 2026 at home surrounded by family in the arms of her Savior. Born August 11, 1933 to RQ and Ada Green, raised in Phoenix AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin, son David, granddaughter Glenda, and son in law Andy. She married at a young age to the love of her life Melvin Sheridan began their life together in Mount Lake Terrace where they started their family. Later bought a house and 40 acres in Conway WA and called it home, raised their children and started a Ranch which later became the Lucky Seven Dude Ranch with horses, cows along with other animals. Ruby loved training and riding horses and was very good at both. After many years and her love of horses they began breeding and training quarter horses which led them to race both quarter horses and thoroughbreds, they traveled near and far and did quite well, Ruby loved everything about horses. Her first love was God, her husband, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, who all spent many hours with her and have great stories, along with 6 great great grandchildren. Ruby worked mostly raising children and operating the Ranch with periods of other jobs to name a couple Musser's Hardware and school bus driver for Stanwood School District she was always very good at every job she did. Everyone who was fortunate enough to know her knew she was the most beautiful, caring, happy, loving person with lots of spunk even at 92 yrs old she was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by many. May she rest in peace. Survived by daughters Carol (Andy) Huttenstine, Beverly (Paul) Stene, Phyllis Prosser, Charolette (Steve) Martin, Daughter in law Marcella (David) Sheridan, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and longtime close friend Loretta Garrett. A graveside service will be held at Fir -Conway Lutheran Cemetery, February 28, 2026, 1:00 pm followed by celebration of life at the Sons of Norway Hall in Conway.
