Russell "Chubby" Dralle, born September 17, 1960, was the youngest of the Dralle boys. He was the apple of Janette's, his mother's eye! Russ passed away peacefully on September 17, 2018.

After graduating with the class of 1978 MVHS, Russ went on to college at WSU. After college, Russ came home to the Skagit Valley to do what was in his blood, farming. The Dralle family has played a key role in the history and tradition of Skagit farming. For the last few years he managed the Dralle Lime warehouse.

Russ was known for his positive attitude, great sense of humor, and infectious laugh. He was a great story teller, whether he was reminiscing about childhood memories, sharing a joke, or just stretching the truth.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Janette Dralle. He is survived by his brothers; Richard (Susan) and Roger, nephew; Ryan (Kaitlyn), niece; Desiree (Ryan), great nephew; Guy, great niece's; Harper and Elsie, step nephew; Tim and his children Calvin, Cyleigh, and Caden.

A gathering will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Mclean Rd. Fire Department at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the WSU foundations online giving site https://foundation.wsu.edu/give/ or the Mclean Rd Fire Dept.
