Sandra Lee Fiedler

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sandra Lee Fiedler, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on January 30, 1943, in Newport, Washington, Sandra made Mount Vernon, Washington, her home in 1973. She lived a life marked by love, kindness, strength, and devotion to her family and friends. She was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and ability to make everyone feel welcome.

Sandra shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with her loving husband, Earl Fiedler. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.

Sandra truly lived to be a grandmother and was the very best grandmother anyone could ever ask for. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren and family, as well as traveling with her friends. Her family was the center of her world, and her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to inspire everyone who knew her.

Sandra was an extraordinary fighter. After being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and initially being given only a few years to live, she courageously battled the disease for more than 25 years. Her strength, perseverance, and determination were remarkable.

She is survived by her loving husband, Earl Fiedler; her sons, Gary Fiedler and his wife, Stephanie, and Dan Fiedler; her grandchildren, Karissa Fiedler, Dylan Fiedler and his wife, Lauren, and Emma Fiedler; and her great-granddaughter, Amber.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sandra’s honor to the Skagit Regional Health Foundation, with gifts designated to the Cancer Care Fund.
