Obituary

Scott Dougliss, 60, of Conway, WA, passed away on January 31, 2025, in the comfort of his home after a year long battle with cancer.

He was born to parents Albert and Nancy Dougliss, on June 18, 1964, at Ballard Hospital in Seattle, WA. They moved to Conway when Scott was in 2nd grade. Scott graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1982. He was on the wrestling team and cross country team, holding a record and lettering in cross country. He then went on to get his CDL where he dedicated 33 years as a delivery driver for Franz, serving his community. Scott's loving spirit is carried on by the love of his life; Annette Aulenbach Dougliss. Their child; Zachary Dougliss. His children; Greg Dougliss, Christine and Josh Mann. His grandchildren; Elijah, Ayden, Asher, Leo, Michael, Jack and Lilly. His parents; Albert and Nancy Dougliss. His siblings; Todd and Pam Dougliss, Darci Ridenhour and Mindi Fatigate, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Scott was known for his strong will, unwavering determination, stubbornness and love and support for his family and community. He dedicated twenty plus years to coaching young athletes, teaching the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Despite facing numerous challenges, Scott never wavered in his love for his family or his commitment to living life to the fullest. He was a devoted husband to Annette, a loving father to three children, and a doting Papa to his grandchildren. He believed in the power of family and dedicated his life to creating a loving and supportive home. Scott was an outdoorsman at heart. A true small-town, country man. You'd be surprised to see him leave his Conway bubble. If he couldn't buy it at Northern Sales or Red Apple, it wasn't worth buying and if it wasn't camouflage, it wasn't worth wearing. He loved being outside, fishing, hunting and barbecuing. He was a man who enjoyed taking a hands-on approach to life. Scott's unwavering positivity and resilience in the face of adversity were an inspiration to everyone he met. His stories, advice, smile and warm hugs will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
