Sharon F. Parsons-Howson 65 of Mt. Vernon passed away January 5th 2013 after a hard fought battle with COPD. Sharon was born in Berkley CA March 21, 1947, graduated from MVHS in 1965. She was preceded in death by her sister Pat Allen, brother Tommy Parsons, dad Lucens (Red) Parsons, Step dad Arnie Erixon, and Mother Thelma Keven Erixon. Sharon is survived by loving husband Dave Howson after recently celebrating their 47th anniversary, daughter Jodi, sons Jeff (wife Kristen), Jake (wife Jill), Grandkids Kolya Ouellet-Stewart (husband Andrew), Kelsi and Jonah Ouellet, Kris Athern, Kylie, Cole and Bo Howson. Two Brothers, and Three Sisters as well as many loving family and friends. Sharon, also known as "beautiful grandma" loved the Mariners, Seahawks, Sonics, Golf, bowling and softball, everything outdoors, or anything she thought she could win even if cheating was an option. She loved her family, life itself and especially all her loving grandkids. She was a 20yr retired member of the IBEW local 191. Sharon was loved by many, will be dearly missed and remembered by family and many friends. Services to be held Saturday, January 12th at 11:00 am at St Pauls Episcipal Church in Mt. Vernon, WA, followed by celebration of her life at the Moose Lodge in Mt. Vernon starting at 12:30.
