Sharon Lois Wudtke passed away September 30th, 2024, at "Where the Heart is" Nursing Home in Burlington WA.

Sharon was born August 19, l935 in Everett, WA. She was the youngest daughter of Oland & Mollie Cox.

Sharon spent her early childhood years on a small farm on Bayview Ridge in Skagit county. The family relocated to Burlington WA, where she attended High School. Sharon was a member of the

Burlington Edison High School marching band and played the bass drum. She worked during the summer months in the tulip bulb and strawberry fields. After high school graduation, Class of 1953, Sharon worked at the Northern State Hospital as a nursing aid. She went on to complete the nursing program at Skagit Valley College with an AA degree and received Her LPN license. She was dedicated to her 45-year nursing career working in hospitals, doctor's offices and long-term care facilities.

Sharon married her husband Don in 1957, and they had two sons Mike and Mark. As a family they enjoyed the outdoors, trips in the motor home, fishing the lakes in Canada, Eastern Washington, salmon fishing and clam digging at Westport. As the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren were growing up, they were able to join in the fun. They also enjoyed the trips to Disneyland and Disney World. During retirement Sharon and Don were able to travel and visit the many interesting places, that Don had discovered on his worldwide business trips: Europe, South America, Japan, China and the far east.

Sharon is survived by her husband Don, two Granddaughters Michelle and Nicole. seven Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchilden.

Sharon was preceded in death by two sons Mark and Mike, and an older sister Carole.

Sharon enjoyed a long and rewarding life with a loving family, fond memories, and many close friends. Sharon will be always loved and deeply missed.
