Sherry Moe was born in Seattle, WA on January 22, 1947 and passed away in Mount Vernon, WA on October 16, 2020. She grew up in Ballard WA and is Ballard High School Alumni. She also studied at University of Washington where she received a master's degree in Spanish Literature. Sherry lived on Capital Hill in Seattle and later moved to Vashon Island. She gave birth to her son, Kevin, and worked as a cashier for many years. Sherry had many interests including writing, art, music, human behavior, spirituality, knitting and crocheting and spending time with her dog. She published a book of short stories, ran a daycare, became a certified hypnotherapist, and continued a prolific output of visual art. She later moved to Mount Vernon, WA where she became an adored member of her community.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, George and Eloise Moe.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Moe; her brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Julia Moe.
