Shirley Eileen Bennett (Zentner) Age, 67, passed away October 21, 2006 in Mount Vernon WA. She was born June 03, 1939 to Michael and Agnes Zentner in Holdfast, Saskatchen, Canada. She married Ernest Bennett on February 07, 1959 in Richmond B.C. Canada at St. Monica's Parish. They then moved to Mount Vernon, WA. Shirley was an avid Bingo player. She also was an active outdoor enthusiast, enjoying fishing camping and hiking. She loved to read and knit. She was most famous for her apple pie. She belonged to the Eagles and the Moose Club. She was preceded in death by her mother Agnes. She is survived by her husband Ernie; 1 daughter Sheryl (Richard) Holland; 2 grandsons Tyler and Justin; 1 son Michael; granddaughter Cheyanne; father Michael; 1 sister Deanna (Walter) Dragan; 1 brother Erwin (Verna) Zentner; Nieces and Nephews and numerous Aunts and Uncles. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday October 26, 2006, 2:00pm at Hawthorne Funeral home 1825 E College Way Mount Vernon, WA with a reception to follow at the Burlington Eagles at 3:00pm
