Pacheco
April 20, 1952 – October 8, 2021
Stanislava (Stassya) was born on April 20th, 1952, in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) Russia. She was the youngest daughter of Sofia Constantinovna Golovnya and Stanislav Vladislavovich Golovnya. While living in Russia Stassya was an educator of music and English language, she taught middle and high school students. She has one daughter from her first marriage, Helen Nazarova. Stassya and Helen immigrated to Santa Rosa California USA on October 12th, 1991, Columbus Day. Starting her life over in America she first worked for Cultural Homestay International, a non-profit student exchange program, as coordinator and group leader. She later went to school and became a Registered Dental Assistant, a career she very much enjoyed. She married her husband Steve Pacheco on October 30th, 1993, at the First Baptist Church in Santa Rosa. Helen was legally adopted by Steve shortly afterwards. The family resided in Santa Rosa CA until 2009, in a home which they built. Steve and Stassya moved to Mount Vernon WA in 2009. While living in Mount Vernon she continued her career as an RDA out of a Bellingham office until recently. She retired in 0n September 9th, 2021, at the age of 69. Stassya Pacheco had many interests and pursuits. This included classical music, opera and the arts, culture and languages. She was a wonderful wife and mother who always took care of her family and cooked delicious food. She had many, many, friends and was like a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. She had a radiant personality and warmth, infectious laughter and a kind soul. She was beautiful on the inside and out. Through her love for beauty, arts and the music she positively affected all of us. She continued to pursue her education and enrich her life and that of others. Among other interests she loved traveling and Boating with her husband and daughter in the San Juan Islands. She was always positive and uplifting, extremely intelligent and a force to be reconned with. Stassya will be sorely missed by us all. She passed away suddenly and tragically in a car accident on October 8th, 2021, along with the family dog Yakone. She is survived by her daughter Helen and husband Steve, along with countless friends and members of the family. God took her to heaven and now she is an Angel watching over us. We love you dearly Stassya, Rest in peace.
