Steven Keith Anshutz, 46, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 19, 2022.

Steve, born August 7, 1975 in Everett Washington, attended Burlington High School and worked for Anacortes refinery since 1999, he was a good brother to many there. He was married to Rachel Anshutz on December 31, 2011, after many years together.

He loved camping, fishing, kayaking, boating, motorbikes, classic Volkswagens and working on vehicles with his brothers. Steve loved to travel and was always up for a road trip. He was known for his contagious laughter; it was impossible not to smile when hearing his laugh.

Steve was a loving husband and father, he was very proud of his children, as well as being a wonderful brother and beloved son. His entire family was everything to him and always came first.

He is survived by his wife Rachel, his children; Aishah, Jhenna, Benjamin, Anthony & Morgan, his parents; Gary & Charlene, brothers; Greg & Mike (and family). He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, father-in-law, sisters-in-laws and a brother-in-law.

There will be a celebration of life held at the union hall, US W Local 12-591, located at 47 Alder Ln, Mount Vernon, Wash , on April 2, 2022. Please come pay your respects anytime between 3pm - 7pm.
