IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Suzanne
Felt
November 9, 1946 – November 10, 2024
Suzanne (Stannert) Felt, 78, of Anacortes Washington, passed away at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Washington on November 10, 2024, after a brief illness surrounded by her loved ones.
Suzanne was born on November 9, 1946, to Irving (Stan) C. and Carrie (Kay) Stannert in Long Beach, California.
The Stannert family left California and moved to Anacortes in the Winter of 1957 where Suzanne attended public schools and remained for her entire life.
Suzanne worked at Shell Refinery for twenty (20) years and retired in 1993. Her hobbies included painting, traveling (she loved traveling with her husband Michael and always looked forward to her ("Sister Trips"), she was also an avid gardener whose love of flowers saw her constantly adding new varieties to her gardens
Suzanne was known to be a giving and kindhearted soul, but she also went above and beyond as she discreetly and confidentially lent support to many.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, Irving C. Stannert, mother, Kay (Stannert) Keaster, sister Lisa (Stannert) Leeper, brother James Stannert and stepfather Floyd Keaster.
Suzanne is survived by her husband of 60 years, Michael, brother, Paul (Nancy) Stannert, sisters Rosemary (Cleo) Melling, Anacortes, Washington, Maeve Lyons; Everett, Washington and Candace Stannert Lynnwood, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Skagit Valley Hospital for their exceptional care, compassion, and kindness shown to Suzanne.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for a donation to be made to the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation in memory of Suzanne.
At Suzanne's request, a celebration of life will take place when the weather is warm. Details to follow later.
Suzanne left us a legacy of love, generosity and service to others; though we're no longer blessed with her physical presence, may our wonderful memories of her continue to uplift and inspire.
