Teresa Ann Knapp Couvion passed to the house of Lord September 2, 2010. Born May 13, 1936 in St Louis Missouri, she grew up in Portland, Oregon where she graduated from Immuculata Academy in 1954. She attended Seattle University 1955-56 where she met her husband of 54 years, Robert Eugene Couvion. Teresa is survived by her husband, three daughters: Marianne Fairchild, Suzy Morrison and Colette Campbell and three sons: Jim, Paul and Bill Couvion whose families include ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Helen Glass and Nancy Chakof. Her kind heart and beautiful smile will be deeply missed by these and her extended family including brother in law Thomas Couvion with his wife Barbara, and sister in law Virginia Hettinger. An avid Mariners Fan, her positive attitude and selfless dedication to her family create cherished memories for all who knew her. Viewing will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 3:00pm until 5:00pm and Tuesday, September 7, 2010, 3:00 pm until 5:00pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home 1825 E College, Way, Mount Vernon. Services will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010, 2:00pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at Hawthorne Memorial Park.
