Thomas J Forstein passed away November 28th, 2023, in Seattle, WA. He was born October 6, 1949, in Tacoma, WA and was the only child of Dorothy Forstein. He grew up in Tacoma and eventually lived and worked in Seattle where he met and married his wife, Carol. They moved to Skagit Valley and made their home in Bow. Tom spent his life fishing and hunting, enjoying spending time in Winthrop where he and Carol had a cabin. His interests were fishing, hunting electronics and mechanics which ended up being his employment over the years eventually retiring from Suburban Propane in the late 90's. His latest hobby was HAM radios and was a member of a club in Winthrop. Tom is survived by his wife Carol Forstein, sons Matthew (Peggy) Forstein and Mike Forstein, grandson Gunnar Forstein, granddaughter Rachel (Taylen) Hamilton, cousin David (Anita) Choate of Beeville, TX, brother in-law Bill Klop, mother in-law Josephine Klop, step-sister Veronica (John) King, Judy Rowley, and nieces Courtney Klop and Lisa King. He was preceded in death by his mother Dororthy Rowley, stepdad Earl Rowley and stepsister Francis Rowley. Private family services will be held at a later date.
