Thomas Patrick Mikota
12/8/1950 – 10/28/2018
Thomas Mikota 67, went to heaven on Sunday October 28, 2018 in Bellingham, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Doris Mikota in 2005.
Thomas is survived by his 5 siblings, Michael (Debbie) and 3 children of Napavine WA.; Richard and 2 sons of Mount Vernon; Carolyn Peterson, of Mount Vernon and 2 children; Roger (Wendy) and 2 two children of Vancouver, WA.; and Margaret Grants of Maple Grove MN.
Thomas taught us the importance of being patient, compassionate and forgiving; and to love unconditionally, and to be lighthearted.
He often asked, "Will I get to Heaven?"
As a learning disabled person we know Jesus has welcomed him into heaven.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 400 N 15th St. Mount Vernon, WA on Monday, November 5th 2018 at 12:15PM. A reception will follow at the church.
