Obituary
Thomas C. "Tom" Stripling Tom was born August 8, 1952 in Ashville, NC to John Thomas and Irene Flora Stripling; he passed away July 20, 2008 at his home in Mount Vernon. Tom is survived by his loving wife: Nancy; daughters: Allyson and Estelle; brothers: Jim, Vic (Emily), John (Gloria), and Ed; grandchildren: Shawn, Nikkol, Jessica, Kyle and Quentin Thomas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother: Roger. Viewing will be held Thursday, July 24, 2008, 10:00 am until 5:00 pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008, 2:00 pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home
