Thomas Lee "Tommy" Morris Tommy was born August 5, 1924 in Clarksville, Arkansas to John and Urcie Morris; he passed away May 11, 2008 in Burlington. Tommy served in the US Army during WWII, in the South Pacific, where he received a Purple Heart of Valor. He married Novello Weaver August 15, 1949 in Carson City, Nevada. He is survived by 3 children: Beverly (Tom) Asaif of Marysville, Patricia Morris of Mount Vernon, and Thomas G. (Debbie) of Mount Vernon; 3 grandchildren: Kelli Crossley, TJ Morris and Aaron Gilden; sisters: Wilma Dobbs of Mount Vernon and June Rohweder of Concrete; brother: Rev. Guy (Nancy) Morris of Irvine, CA; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sister-Jean Rogers; brother-John Morris and grandson: Josh Morris.
