Vivian Corrine (Erickson) Inman, age 94 of Bow passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. She was born to the late Charles and Lena Erickson on April 2, 1921. Vivian graduated from Burlington High School in 1938 and continued on to receive her beauticians license at the age of 21. She worked in Burlington, then with her sister June and later opened Vivian's Beauty Shop at the family farm. Vivian was a hairdresser for over 60 years. She did her last perm at age 83 and her client was over 100. Vivian was a longtime member of Allen Methodist Church.
Vivian was married to Phil L. Inman on August 19, 1944, they were married for nearly 50 years. Family and friends were Vivian's love and joy. She grew up in Allen, the youngest of 9 children, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She was an excellent cook and loved welcoming people to her table. She was well known for her cinnamon rolls. Vivian loved her flowers and took great pride in keeping her ever growing yard mowed with her riding lawn mower. She and Phil enjoyed traveling in their motorhome with her sister Lorraine and husband Winnie Ballinger.
Vivian is survived by her three children, Mary Lou Caudill, Larry Inman and (Debbie), Phil (Fritz) Inman and (Shelah), her grandchildren Melissa Harris and (Ryan), Michael Inman and (Christine), Melissa Stenblom, Jeremy Linder and (Kallie), Michelle, Cindy, Mike & Paul Caudill, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lena Erickson, her husband Phil L. Inman, her siblings, Elmer, George, Jean, Ted, Oscar, Clarence, Lorraine, June and her son-in law Jim Caudill.
Memorial donations may be given to the Allen Fire Department, 9061 Avon Allen Road, Bow, WA. 98232 or your favorite charity. The family of Vivian Inman would like to thank Life Care of Sedro Woolley, Hawthorne Funeral Home, Linda Haddon and the many friends and neighbors Vivian loved.
Viewing will be Monday, December 28, 2015, 8:30 am until the Celebration of Vivian's life, 11:00 AM, at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the Hawthorne Reception Room with a burial to follow at Bayview Cemetery.
