Wayne Jay Wilson Mount Vernon, Washington

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Jay Wilson of Mt. Vernon, WA, who left us on June 25th, 2025, at the age of 67. A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Wayne will be remembered for his extraordinary generosity towards others, quiet strength, and selfless spirit.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joan (Bach) and Lloyd McEldoon. Wayne is survived by his wife Kerry (Larson) his son, Jason (Kristin); stepson Frank; stepdaughter Darrien, and brothers Greg (Suezette) and Russell (Kathy) as well as nieces and nephews.

After high school Wayne joined the Air Force, an experience that shaped his lifelong dedication to his work ethics. Following his time in the military, he built a successful career working at Shell Oil in the instrumentation and electrical field.

Wayne will be remembered for his extraordinary generosity towards others, quiet strength, and selfless spirit. To know Wayne was to know true kindness. He was always willing to help others, never expecting anything in return. He found joy and peace in the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman who cherished time spent in nature. These moments were among his most treasured, and he often shared them with family and friends.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, and generosity that will live on in the hearts of all who have had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of his life and to honor his memory will be held On September 28th at Hilcrest Logde in Mount vernon, from 12-4 pm.
