William W. "Bill" Heinck May 18, 1951 – July 3, 2011 Surrounded by his loved ones, July 3, Bill went to be with the lord after fighting a courageous battle with asbestos cancer. Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara of 20 years; 2 sons: Matthew (15) and Jake (12); adoptive mother: Gloria Heinck; 2 sisters: Brenda Edwards and Audrey Smith-Byers; 2 brothers: Daniel Smith and Joe Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews Bill was born in Everett, WA to Laurice and Warren Heinck. He graduated in 1969 from Cascade High School, and continued to Central Washington University where he received his degree in business and biology. Bill retired from the Washington State Fish and Game Department after 22 years as a Sergeant. Earlier years he word at GE and Black Clawson. He loved to hike and camp with his family, hunt, fish and do weightlifting. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held Friday, July 8, 2011, 2:00 pm at Fir-Conway Lutheran Church. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011, 11:00 am at Fernhill Cemetery in Raymond, WA. Memorials may be made in Bill's name to Hospice of the Northwest, PO Box 1376, Mount Vernon, WA 98273, Ducks Unlimited-Skagit Valley, or the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
