IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William "Billy"
Vito Rodio Iii
July 22, 2002 – July 25, 2024
In the morning of July 25th, 2024, William (Billy) Vito Rodio III passed away in his home in Sedro Woolley, Washington, days after his 22nd birthday. Billy was born in Mount Vernon, Washington on July 22nd, 2002, the first boy in a family of ten children. He was homeschooled before attending Skagit Academy and Skagit Valley College, showing interest in Veterinary Sciences and Dentistry. He worked as a dental assistant at Alpine Dental.
Billy had a way of making everyone feel like his best friend. He cared deeply about those around him, and was kind and loving. Even as a child, he would make friends wherever he went with adult and children alike, unafraid to introduce himself and pick up any topic of conversation.
His interests included sports, camping, fishing, gaming, and riding his motorcycle. He played football and soccer before settling on basketball in high school, when he was voted "Most Inspirational" by his teammates. At the age of 6, he won first place in a fishing competition. He was never afraid to try something new or to take a risk.
Billy is survived by his parents, Bill and Monica Rodio, his siblings, Alexandra Putnam (Justin, George, Maximilian, and Theodora) Rachel Lex (Jacob and Tucker), Lucas, Maryssa, Abraham, Samuel, Scarlett, Clare, and Anton Rodio. He is also survived by a large circle of family and friends, including his grandparents, Charles Buennagel and Laurie Todd, his aunts and uncles, Brenda and Chris Suits, Jeff and Julie Stalter, Lori Rodio and Caine Brand, Tina Dinsmore, and Tony Rodio. Other family members include his close friend and cousin, Jacob Burleson.
Billy's funeral mass will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 11:00a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church (1200 E. 5th St., Arlington Washington 98223). A rosary will preceed the mass at 10:00a.m. Reception to follow downstairs.
