Willis Hargrave

Willis was born December 29, 1935 in Jamestown, ND to Clarence and Ane (Jessen) Hargrave; he passed away November 27, 2024 at his home in Blanchard.  On April 20, 1968 Willis married Dona Blohm.  In 1973 They moved from North Dakota to Washington State.  In 1976 they bought a home in Blanchard where they raised their children.  Willis worked at many dairy farms as a cattleman/dairyman; in his later years he worked as a janitor for the Burlington-Edison School District.  He and Dona loved taking road trips, especially off the beaten path.  They loved to swing dance.  Willis was an avid Bunko player, he loved rodeos and big band Benny Goodman music.  He was an avid reader, anything historical or Zahn Gray.  Up until this summer he went to planet fitness and would visit both of his daughters at Fred Meyer, along with all of his cashier friends.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dona in 2019.  He is survived by his brother: Patrick; 4 children; grandchildren: and great grandchildren; cousins (they are like siblings), nieces and nephews.  He was loved and he loved his family.  Willis will be placed next to his wife at Bow Cemetery.
