Zona L. Sjogren

Zona L Sjogren, age 92, passed away  February 11th 2021 in Mount Vernon.  Born August 14th 1928 in Sedro-Wooley to Jenoth and Helen Coker.  She grew up on their dairy farm along with her brothers Lloyd and Norman.  She graduated from Sedro-Wooley High School in 1946 and worked at Memorial Hospital for several years.

On February 3rd 1951 she married Ray Sjogren.  They made their home in Mount Vernon and raised two sons David and Gordon.  They enjoyed travelling especially to Alaska, Arizona and San Diego. They were members of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mount Vernon.

Zona was preceded in death by her husband Ray and brothers Lloyd and Norman.  Survivors include: sons David (Sandy) and Gordon, grandchildren Jeff(Melissa), Jon and Stacey(Shah), great grandchildren Haleigh and Harlow.

Due to Covid no celebration is planned at this time.
